Around a year after the flood disaster, the City Outlet Bad Münstereifel has reopened its doors.
On 14 July 2021, Bad Münstereifel was completely destroyed by the flood catastrophe.
In less than one year, most of the city as well as all of the retail units have been rebuilt. Over 70% of our retailers have opened their stores yesterday, 30 June 2022, and the rest will open within the following weeks. All of the units will be open and trading by 14 August 2022 when the 8 year anniversary celebration of the City Outlet will take place.
The Outlet continues to grow and in the following year, construction of a new 1,000 sqm to 1,200 sqm phase will begin, adding even more brands and variety to the tenant mix.
